Abstract (EN)
Aim: This study aims to provide new information to the literature on this subject by examining the differences in the quality of work life of healthcare professionals who exercise and those who do not. Materials and Method: The study addresses some demographic characteristics of healthcare professionals (gender, marital status, regular exercise status, job satisfaction status, desire to leave the institution, finding the wage sufficient, job status suitable for the education received, education level, age, working years and workplace status) and the quality of nursing work life with a descriptive approach. In the study, the "Personal Information Form" and the "Nurses' Quality of Work Life Scale (HİYKÖ)" were used as data collection forms in order to obtain the demographic characteristics of individuals. Results: No statistically significant difference was found between the variables of gender, marital status, regular exercise, finding the wage adequate and education level of the healthcare workers participating in the study and their quality of work life. It was concluded that there was a statistically significant difference between the quality of work life of the nurses and their professional satisfaction, desire to leave the institution, job status suitable for the education received, age, years of work and status at the workplace. Conclusion: The study found that healthcare professionals who exercise have a higher quality of work life. Key Words: Healthcare Workers, Exercise, Quality of Work Life
