Abstract (EN)

This study examines the phenomenon of migration from Tajikistan to Russia from both economic and social perspectives. It highlights that migration serves as a means to meet migrants' basic daily needs, reduce unemployment, and improve the living conditions of the population. In today's world, migration is a social and economic phenomenon that affects not only the migrants themselves but also the sending and receiving countries in various ways. Tajik migrants are influenced by a range of factors, including economic, social, psychological, and other determinants. The study identifies the main reasons behind the migration of Tajik citizens to Russia as limited job opportunities, the pursuit of personal development, and the country's constrained economic conditions. Migration constitutes a primary source of income for many families, and the remittances sent by migrants play a significant role in enhancing living standards and supporting the national economy.
