Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in the 2024 grape production regime in order to determine the ampelographic seeds of some grape genotypes grown in the Elazığ-Kuzova region. The ampelographic characteristics of 16 different grape varieties studied in the Kuzova region of Elazığ province were used in the publication titled "Descriptors for Grape", which was created by the "International Center for Plant Genetic Resources" (IBPGR) and published in 1983. In addition, the list titled "Minimal Descriptor List for Grapevine Varieties" published in 1989 was also studied with reference. 16 grape varieties identified in Kuzaova region of Elazığ province were evaluated in terms of 79 characters. These varieties are Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Tahannebi, Kış Kırmızısı, Köhnü, Şilfoni, Kösetevek, Ağın Beyazı, Keşpir, Hatun Parmağı, Kabarcık, Kıtır Üzüm, Elazığ Kırmızısı, Mor Üzüm, Papaz Karası and Besni. It was determined that 16 grape varieties grown in Kuzaova region of Elazığ province belong to Vitis vinifera L. species, 5 of them (Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Kösetevek, Keşpir, Kıtır Üzüm) have blue-black berry skin color, 2 of them (Köhnü and Papaz Karası) have red-black berry skin color, 2 of them (Kış Kırmızısı, Elazığ Kırmızısı) have red berry skin color, 2 of them (Mor Üzüm and Besni) have dark red-purple berry color and 5 of them (Tahannebi, Şilfoni, Ağın Beyazı, Hatun Parmağı and Kabarcık) have green-yellow berry skin color. Observations made on mature leaves during the falling period revealed that all varieties had 5 lobes (slices). In terms of grain characteristics, it was observed that the shell color of all varieties was uniform. It was also observed that all varieties had seeds, and the seeds did not have a transverse groove on the back. In the observations made on the bunches during the flowering period, it was observed that 12 varieties (Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Kış Kırmızısı, Şilfoni, Kösetevek, Ağın Beyazı, Hatun Parmağı, Kıtır Üzüm, Elazığ Kırmızısı, Mor Üzüm, Papaz Karası and Besni) were hermaphroditic, and 4 varieties (Tahannebi, Köhnü, Keşpir and Kabarcık) had morphological hermaphroditic and physiologically female flower structures. It was observed that the earliest maturing variety in the region was Tahannebi and the latest maturing variety was Winter Red.
