Abstract (EN)
In this study, structural, technological, productivity and socio-economic structure of employee of trout farms with different capacity were examined. The data obtained by survey from actively working 159 cage and pool fish farms and 3 offspring production units one belonging to government which are 72 small (≤25 tons/year), 50 medium (25.01-250 tons/year) and 37 large (≥250.01) capacity were analyzed. According to the results; it was determined that the management structure of rainbow trout farms in Elazığ province is 64.42% individual-family, 34.97% company-partnership, 0.61% of public; considering the equity financing of organizations 9.43% shareholders' equity, 74.21% shareholders' equity + credit. 3.14% of the company combine, 96.86's% magnification; the average project capacity of 204.91 tons / year, the actual capacity of 94.69 tons / year and capacity utilization rate was found to be 46.21%. The product pattern of business is 94.48% portion size, 2.45% fry and 3.07% portion size+fry. While 60.74% of the company wholesale their product to processing plant, the rest consider as fresh + retail + cooked. When productivity compared in 25, 25.01-250 and 250.01 and up tons/year capacity companies, differences among productivity means in three groups were significant (p <0.01) Multiple comparisons showed that 25 tons/year capacity companies have statistically significant higher productivity than the other two companies (p <0.05). Productivity in terms of management structure of the company was found to be statistically significant difference (p <0.01). As a result of socio-economic analysis conducted for business owners and employees in the company, which employs 731 people in the companies, it was determined that 55.40% of them chosed this job because of unemployment. Between 1-20 staff employed in the companies, 1-3 staff in 58.90%, the distribution of age varies between 19-50 years old, than they were in the 20-29 age group with 43.37% and 94.66% male and 5.34% female. It was determined that 2.67 labor fell per company. Most (71.14%) of the employees were married. When the education status of staff examined, the largest group was secondary school graduates with 46.37%.
