Abstract (EN)
The developments in today's communication technologies, environmental factors, the increase of smartphone ownership, the development of internet access facilities and the pandemic caused the consumer to turn to online shopping from traditional shopping methods. In this subject the issue of payment in the electronic purchases of consumers is a problem that creates anxiety. This study was carried out to determine the perceptions of security and trust regarding the payment alternatives offered to consumers in their electronic shopping. In the model created in this context, the relationship between consumers' perception of security, trust in electronic payment methods and the use of payment instruments within the framework of various parameters was evaluated. In the study, data were collected through questionnaires from 503 undergraduate students at Manisa Celal Bayar University. SPSS and AMOS programs were used in the analysis of the data. In order to test the reliability of the scales, "Reliability Analysis", "Item Total Score Correlation", "Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA)" and "Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA)" were performed to test construct validity. While testing the hypotheses put forward within the scope of the model, the structural equation model (SEM) was used. As a result of the study, when the general fit values obtained with the structural equation model were examined, it was seen that the model showed an acceptable level of fit. Likewise, the results of the path analysis revealed that 9 hypotheses in the research were supported. In this respect, it has been determined that the variables of technical protection, transaction procedures, security notifications, security perception and trust have a significant effect on consumers' use of electronic payment methods.
