Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to compare the organizational commitment and organizational stress levels of Taekwondo and Muaythai athletes who do sports at the elite level, depending on variables such as their organizational commitment and organizational stress levels (age, gender, nationality degrees, educational status, year of sport, which branch they do). . In this context, causal comparison method was used in screening models. The universe of the research consists of male and female athletes injured in the national athlete status in Turkish Taekwondo and Muaythai Federations. Its sample consists of 183 women, 150 of whom will compete in the categories of youth (women-men), adults (women-men) who will participate in international competitions in the activity program of 2020-2021 Turkish Taekwondo and Muaythai Federations. 333 male athletes are national athletes. Personal information form, Elite Athlete Stress Scale and Elite Athlete Organizational Commitment Scale were used as data collection tools within the scope of the research. SPSS 25.0 program was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the research. While evaluating the obtained data, descriptive statistical methods (mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage) were used. It was determined that there was no normal distribution and non-parametric tests were used. Accordingly, the difference between the two groups was determined by the Mann Whitney U Test and the Kruskal Wallis test for the groups with more than two. Spearman Correlation test was applied to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational stress. The significance level was determined as p<0.05. As a result; It has been observed that there is a negative significant relationship between the stress levels of muaythai and taekwondo athletes and their commitment levels, and that while the stress of the athletes decreases, their commitment will increase, or vice versa, when their stress increases, their commitment will decrease.
