Abstract (EN)

Industry 4.0 has become a concept that gains more importance day by day, and it has increased its sphere of influence with the developments in technology. The fact that technology is an important part of our lives, making people's lives easier, has made technology the focal point of change and transformation. This study aims to reveal the effects of Industry 4.0 on human resource management functions. While bringing the innovations brought by Industry 4.0 to the labor market, it influences working life and directly includes human resources in this circle of change. In this circle of change, it has been examined whether the claims made by human resources professionals about human resources management functions overlap with these functions. In this study, qualitative research design was used, and phenomenological approach was used. The semi-structured questions prepared by the researcher during the online interviews with human resources professionals within the framework of the interview technique were directed to 10 human resources professionals who the subjects of the research were NVivo 12 Pro software was used in the analysis of the collected qualitative data. Research findings are discussed under four themes. These findings were analyzed under the themes of 'Basic Concepts', 'Industry 4.0 and HRM', 'Industry 4.0 and the Labor Market' and 'Industry 4.0 and Businesses'. As a result of this study, it has been found that Industry 4.0 affects HRM functions. In addition, it has been determined that the most affected function from change and transformation is recruitment and training. As the demand for digitalization in working life increases, Industry 4.0 continues to affect HRM functions. When the effects of Industry 4.0 on the labor market, businesses and HRM are examined in detail, it is evaluated that the development of employee competencies, training process and recruitment functions will make significant contributions to the adaptation process.
