Abstract (EN)

Tea factories and production make a great contribution to our country's economy. This sector contributes approximately 1 billion dollars to our country's economy and also creates employment in the region. Tea processing technology and data in the world and in Turkey are included. The issue of how tea factories can be designed in the context of efficiency is discussed. In the thesis, factors such as production process, space organization, equipment selection and placement, automation and technology, energy and water efficiency, and workforce management are mentioned in order to optimize the design of tea factories in the context of efficiency. Important topics in the context of efficiency such as product flow and workplace layout optimization, ergonomics, and logistics processes are included. In this context, the design guide created for those working in the tea industry, factory owners, my valued colleagues, designers and anyone else interested in the subject aims to help tea factories operate more effectively and efficiently.
