Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate impacts of world energy prices on industrial firms' profitability ratios using 37 Turkish manufacturing companies traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange which operate both domestically and abroad. We examined quarterly data between 2008 - 2015 and employed Panel ARDL analysis. The study shows that there is a significant negative long run relationship between energy prices and firms' profitability ratios. Keywords: Energy prices, Panel ARDL, Firm Profitability, ROA
