Determining the tourism potential in Enez and it's surroundings

In the 21st century, tourism is an important sector in economic terms in the world and in our country. The fact that traveling has become easier and faster with the developing technology and developments experienced in this century has made it easier for people to reach tourist activities. Thanks to the constantly developing and growing tourism sector, people can get away from their daily lives and relax. Different types of tourism offer this opportunity. Enez district of Edirne province, which constitutes the scope of this study, creates tourism potential thanks to its natural beauties and historical and cultural locations, as well as the presence of a long coastline. In this master's thesis, it is investigated whether the field uses its potential as a result of literature research, summer and winter use surveys, interviews with the executives of official institutions, and SWOT analysis. Besides, the problems hindering this potential will be identified and it is aimed to present suggestions to ensure that the potential of the area will be fully exploited, where appropriate solutions will be provided to these problems.
