Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relation between the tendencies adolescents footballers to violence and their levels of social support is investigated. 400 people in total joined the research, 200 of whom from U14 age group and the other 200 of whom from U17 age group. The data of the research was collected by questionaire forms and was analyzed using SPSS 15 statistics programme. In the research, "The Scale Tendency to Violence" and "Level of Social Support" scale were used. At the end of the research, a meaningful relation between the sportspeople's ages and the state of tendency to violence (p-value=,000); between the working condition of mother and the perceived level of social support (p-value=,047); between the working condition of father and the state of tendency to violence (p-value=,030), between the education level of father and the perceived level of social support (p-value=,039); between the content of the television shows watched and the level of tendency to violence (p-value=,020) and between the state of sports increasing tolerance and the perceived levels of social content (p-value=,000). No meaningful relation was found between the tendency to violence and the perceived levels of social content with the other demographical information.
