Abstract (EN)

The amount of trace elements found in human and animal tissues per kilogram is 1 milligrams or less. Nowadays, trace amount of essence in diverse samples must be determined because of the rising environmental pollution. Analytical chemistry places a great deal of importance on the detection of heavy essence ions in natural fluids, biological samples, and dietary samples. However, because to their low quantities and presence of matrix-enabled species, trace metals are difficult to directly identify in samples. Because; Before the sample is analyzed, some techniques have been devised to separate and preconcentrate the species of interest from the matrix. A significant and useful use way is separation and preconcentration based on solid phase extraction. To fully understand the increasing environmental pollution and its effects, it is very important to identify trace metal ions in foods, environmental samples and samples of many other fields. Most trace metal measurements in water and environmental samples are made using instrumental methods such as atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), atomic emission spectrometry (AES), inductively coupled atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and inductively coupled mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Due to its low cost and ease of use, atomic absorption spectrometry is one of the most popular methods for the analysis of trace metal ions. However, there are several challenging and complex analytical steps involved in the analysis of trace metal ions. The low concentration of metal ions in the sample and the degrading effects of sample constituents are two important considerations when determining trace metal ions using AAS. As a result, most analytical detection techniques may be ineffective in directly detecting metals in samples with complex compositions. Pre-enrichment and separation are necessary to make the amount of metal ions in the solution observable and to get rid of the degrading effects.
