Abstract (EN)

The goal of this research is to investigate the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS) on the relationships between organizational culture (OC) and job performance (JP). These relations are discussed within the framework of Social Exchange Theory (SET). The sample of the research consists of 347 participants working in aviation firms. Data were collected from the participants via an online questionnaire. Snowball sampling method was used. Organizational culture levels of the employees were measured by Cameron and Quinn Organizational Culture Scale (OCS), their assessment of job performance was measured by Job Performance Scale (JBS) abbreviated by Spreitzer, and their perceptions of organizational support were measured using Perceived Organizational Support Scale (SPOS) by Eisenberger et al. SPSS v22 program were used in data analysis. With the help of the data, explanatory factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and a moderated hierarchical regression analysis were used to test models and hypotheses. According to the findings, it was determined that perceived organizational support had a moderating effect on the positive relationship between organizational culture and job performance. The results are interpreted in the discussion section. The limitations of the research were mentioned. Recommendations have been made that are thought to be useful to future researchers have been made.
