F. Simandl "New Method for The Double Bass" Method in terms of target and target behaviors

In the scope of the research; psychomotor and cognitive objectives and behaviors are revealed regarding The Simandl Method, which is frequently used in institutions providing double bass training in Turkiye. Within the framework of the research, Uçan'ın (1997) the examinations made within the scope of the "Examining Instrument Methods with the Method Analysis and/or Etude Analysis Method Based on the Contemporary Curriculum Model" approach developed were grouped and presented. Purpose of the research; in the F. Simandl "New Method for The Double Bass" Method, it is the determination of the objectives and behaviors that are expected to be achieved cognitively and psychomotorically. In line with the purpose of the research, objectives and behaviors of the "New Method for The Double Bass" Method were examined as "cognitive" and "psychomotor". In this research, parts related to the "New Method for The Double Bass" Method were examined and expert opinions were consulted for the studies. In the research, analysis was made and evaluated according to Veysel Sönmez's taxonomy. In the analysis of the data obtained from the research, the document / text analysis method was used. In line with the research; 44 cognitive objectives and 51 cognitive behaviors were determined cognitively, and 64 psychomotor objectives and 134 psychomotor behaviors were determined psychomotor. Within the scope of the findings obtained from the studies examined; it is determined that the cognitive objectives are at the "knowledge" level in the cognitive behaviors and at the "stimulation, guidance control and skill" level in the psychomotor behaviors. Based on the findings obtained from the research; it can be determined that the target and target behaviors are sufficient both cognitively and psychomotorically and that the "New Method for The Double Bass" Method can be used in double bass training.
