Abstract (EN)
This study used the genetic structuralist method developed by Lucien Goldmann to analyze Fakir Baykurt's Irazca Trilogy. The literary sociological approach known as genetic structuralism was created by Goldmann between 1950 and 1970 and was based on Marxist criticism. With consideration for societal circumstances and the meaningful integrity of the work, this approach seeks to study a work in a dialectical-dynamic manner. Genetic structuralism is a method of literary criticism that examines literary works from a holistic perspective and aims to make sense of them. With this method, which consists of stages of understanding and explanation, the work offers the opportunity to be analyzed with a structuralist approach and examined at social, political, cultural, religious and economic levels. Throughout history, societies and social classes have undergone transformations. These phases influence how people view and understand the world. These experiences give rise to a more or less consistent worldview in every community. It is feasible to arrive at the genetic structuralist method's worldview of society. It was thought appropriate to use the genetic structuralist method to analyze Fakir Baykurt's Irazca Trilogy because it is a work with a strong social aspect. The trilogy chronicles Turkey's years from 1950 to 1970. It illuminates the aforementioned years of Turkish society and presents the worldview of that era, all the while portraying the struggles and transformations faced by the Kara family. In terms of representing Turkey's social, political, cultural, religious, and economic transformations, it plays a significant role. Details regarding the sociology of literature and the genetic structuralist method's content were provided in the study. The biography and writing style of Fakir Baykurt are discussed. The Irazca Trilogy novels, Yılanların Öcü, Irazca'nın Dirliği, and Kara Ahmet Destanı, were analyzed using the genetic structuralist approach. The results are provided in the conclusion section. At the conclusion of the study, a bibliography and resume are provided.
