Abstract (EN)

Energy and exergy analysis of 2 stages cooling system has been studied by using refrigerant having different Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) effects with the help of the EES program. In this study, many alternative refrigerants have been used, such as R32, R4110A, R407C, R245fa, R290, R507A, R717, R1234yf and R1234ze, and these refrigerants have same ODP values; however, GWP values are different. Among the refrigerants used in this study, refrigerants that have the highest and lowest ODP and GWP are R717A, R507A respectively. Cooling performance coefficients of these refrigerants have been calculated as 5.358, 4.502 respectively, while exergy efficiencies calculated 0.7069, 0.594 respectively. As a result of Analyse, efficiencies of exergy and the Cooling Performance Coefficient (COP) have been compared in the case of operating with different parameters for each refrigerant. Exergy loss of each component of the cooling system has been determined. The most exergy loss. It has been detected that the highest exergy loss is in the evaporator. Key Words: Refrigerant, Two stages, Energy, Exergy, R1234yf, R1234ze
