Abstract (EN)
Welding is the jointing process for the formation of a continuous internal structure under the application of heat energy or pressure of the materials. Metal welding; It is divided into two as 'Melting Welding' and 'Solid State Welding'. For the welding of a building element, the welding capability of the building element is important. Factors affecting welding ability; material, construction and welding method. In this study; The welding ability of selected high strength structural steel was tested by various melt welding methods. Selected API 5L X80 high strength low carbon structural steel material; manual arc welding, gas welding and submerged arc welding. The strength of the samples combined with different welding methods are destructive tests; yield strength, tensile strength, notch impact strength and hardness test with material structure; Macrographic examination. The test results were compared with each other.
