Exaluation on opinion of experts about baglama education who gives education on different baglama types

The baglama is divided into many different types with many different names. Various trainings are given about these types, some through special efforts and some through educational institutions. However, within the extent of the research, it has been determined that some of the curricula of the Ministry of National Education and the higher education institution included only training programs on the long-neck bağlama. In this study, it has been tried to determine the types of baglama that are included in these teaching areas and outside these curricula. In addition, expert opinions on the usage of the baglama types trained in Turkey and the reasons that led to their use were included. The population of the research consists of ten experts who are providing training on three-string baglama, kopuz, tembur short-neck baglama and long-neck baglama types, which are currently being trained and have methods, between 2022-2023. The research has been prepared with a qualitative model and has been carried out in a phenomenological pattern. The data obtained from the research were collected by using a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher who conducted the study in line with expert opinions, and the data were finalized by applying content analysis. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the aim of the experts in providing training in the baglama type in which they are experts is to maintain the tradition, when choosing the baglama type for basic baglama training, the age range of the person should be taken into consideration and that it is a personal situation, and the student's personal tastes regarding which baglama type the student should receive training should be taken into consideration. It is necessary to understand the effects of the baglama type chosen at the beginner level, it has the advantage of compatibility with the student's structural characteristics, instrument proficiency in terms of sound playing and structure, it contributes to the instructiveness and diversity of folk music, and it is possible to determine a common baglama type in basic baglama training for baglama educators. It was concluded that it was not possible.
