Abstract (EN)

In this study, photovoltaic systems located in three different regions were modeled and simulated using PVsyst software. The simulation results were statistically compared with the actual electricity production values. The percentage error analyses for the photovoltaic systems in Kağıthane, Alaşehir, and Elmalı were found to be 0.061, 0.014, and 0.034, respectively. Subsequently, changes in system electricity production were calculated using different inverters and optimizers for a solar power plant with the assistance of PVsyst software. The increases in electricity production values for Optimizer 3, 2, and 1 were determined to be 488, 340, and 335 kWh, respectively. Additionally, for Inverter 5 and 6, it was found that they provided 248 and 214 kWh more electricity production, respectively, compared to the currently used inverter. The identified values were economically analyzed to calculate payback period and thirty-year total profit values. Thus, it was determined how close PVsyst software provides results to real electricity production values and the effects of selecting inverters and optimizers on electricity production and economically.
