Abstract (EN)

The Fetret Period (1402-1413), which began after Yildirim Bayezid was captured by Timur in the Battle of Ankara in 1402, is one of the most important events in Ottoman history. During this period of internal struggle and confusion, when the state was in danger of disappearing, Süleyman Çelebi, Isa Çelebi, Musa Çelebi and Mehmet Çelebi, the princes of Yıldırım Bayezid, began to struggle for the throne. However, it is noteworthy that during the Fetret Period, when bloody power wars were experienced, the Ottoman Empire's reconstruction and construction activities were also continued in Anatolia and Rumelia, and the princes went on the path of overcoming each other and gaining legitimacy through reconstruction activities as well as armed struggle. This period, when the Ottoman lands in Anatolia were administered from Bursa and the Ottoman lands in Rumeli from Edirne, reveals a cross-section of Ottoman architecture and culture-art environment in which traditional and new, pure and karma were used Decoupled. This aspect of the early Ottoman architecture and culture and art environment, which has not been researched much, has been tried to be addressed in detail. Existing architectural examples related to the subject were evaluated on site, domestic and foreign research works, articles, documents belonging to the period, master's and doctoral theses were examined, a specific plan was created and an attempt was made to write.
