Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the effects of systemic and environmental factors on the installed panels of photovoltaic power plant. In this study, the performance data of two existing facilities under the working conditions of Istanbul were examined. For this purpose, the parameters affecting the performance of the solar panels were investigated. In addition, thermal tests and current voltage parameters of the measured system were examined to investigate the effect of shading, damage and heat losses. For two different panels with different power and technology, the comparison of the measurements made by series with the values declared by the manufacturer and the performance values are discussed. In the scope of the study, current voltage curves of solar panels were examined by making measurements in place of the system according to IEC standards. By comparing the measured values and the data in the STC, the effect of panel performance on the photovoltaic power plant was examined and the change in performance values was observed with the help of the graphs. As a result of this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of the measurements and tests on the production data of the plant, which will help to increase the efficiency of the panels in solar power plants.
