Abstract (EN)

In this study, a study has been carried out for a permanent magnet brushless direct current motor (BLDCM), which is designed especially for use in electric vehicles. According to the literature review, it has been seen that BLDCM has been used on electric vehicles before. It has been seen and examined by which methods the engine is controlled in such uses. In the literature, methods such as field oriented control (FOC) and direct torque control (DTC) with driver circuit have been used to control the motor. Among the control methods, field-effect position sensor BLDCM control with PI controller, BLDCM control with current controller, FOC method control and DTC method control methods are modeled and run in MATLAB/Simulink simulation environment. The speed errors of each control method in transient situations were examined. According to the simulations made in the simulation environment, it has been understood that the speed errors of the hall effect position sensor PI controller method are very high and it works unstable depending on the load torque. However, it has been observed that the performance of DTC method to reset the error in transient situations is better than the others. According to these results, it has been understood that the use of DTC method in BLDCM's that provide mobility in electric vehicle applications is much more efficient.
