The folkloric study on Gaziantep culinary

Gaziantep is a city in which cuisine culture is alive. This thesis has focused on eating&drinking culture in Gaziantep where many civilizations have lived. Eating & drinking behaviours in transient seasons and the associated beliefs in Gaziantep has been investigated and whether they are old effects of Turkish culture. Eating & drinking shows itself anywhere in life. Feasts and ceremonies, meal held on special occasions of women have been studied. Also tools and spices while used cooking focused on the containers and their functions. The food and drinks made in Gaziantep has been introduced. Gaziantep culinary, eating and drinking due to traditions and beliefs and picnic culture has been referred. Verbal culture products which live among people have been referred.
