Evaluation of nausea and vomiting which is problems of pregnancy considering ketone positivity and food consumption

EVALUATION OF NAUSEA and VOMITING WHICH is PROBLEMS OF PREGNANCY CONSIDERING KETONE POSITIVITY and FOOD CONSUMPTION This study was conducted with 85 subjects voluntarily participating in the study between January 2017 and May 2018 who did not have a hearing and comprehension problem between 18-40 years old who came to Cerrahpaşa Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Istanbul. A sample of the study was formed. A survey (Appendix 2) was conducted using the face-to-face survey method to examine the general information, health status, anthropometric measures, food consumption frequency and food consumption records of the subjects participating in the study. Individuals with nausea and vomiting in pregnancy were assessed according to ketone positivity and nutritional status was observed accordingly. There was a statistically significant difference between the patients who had nausea and vomiting (p <0.05) and the patients who had nausea and vomiting in the pregnancy were more likely to have keton positivity. In the treatment of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, besides drug and psychotherapy treatments, diet therapy, herbal treatment, hypnosis treatment and acupuncture treatment have been applied. In the treatment of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, keton positivity needs more work and dosage for definitive treatment. Key words: Nausea Vomiting, Nutrition, Keton, Pregnancy
