The future of energy security and security economy in Turkey on the axis of transition security

The concept of energy security can be defined as accessing the available energy resources at affordable prices and transferring the continuity of energy supply to the countries in need in a safe and trouble free manner. Energy security is becoming increasingly important in an energy market where demand is constantly increasing day by day. It can be stated that the emergence of this situation was caused by the wars in the recent history. As a result of these wars, countries have felt the need to work on energy security. Today, critical infrastructures, which are included in the subsections of the term security, are considered to be of great importance for the continuation of public order. In this study, the factors that constitute the concept of energy security, the definition of energy resources, and the role of countries with energy resources in energy policy and security are discussed. The energy policy of our country was discussed and social policy recommendations on energy security were shared, especially in the context of transition security.
