Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between some physiological parameters and FMS scores in young football players. The research group consists of 17 amateur football players (16-years old) born in 2004 in the 2020-2021 football season, who are part of the Seyrantepe Of Spor amateur football team in the district of Istanbul Kâğıthane. The model of the research is the relational scanning model, one of the scanning models. In this study, the relationship between the athletes' FMS scores and body analysis, balance and strength parameters was analyzed in the SPPS package program. In our study, the relationships between the participants' FMS total scores and body analysis, balance parameters and strength parameters were examined. A moderate negative correlation was found between FMS total scores and body weight parameters (p =, 015, r = -, 580), while a moderate negative correlation was found between FMS total scores and skeletal muscle weight parameters (p=,026, r=-,537). A moderate negative correlation was found between participants' FMS scores and BMI parameters (p =, 018, r = -, 566). It was established that there was no significant relationship between FMS total scores and height, body fat ratio and body fat weight parameters (p> 0.05). A significant relationship was found between the participants' FMS scores and BMI parameters (R =, 566, R2 =, 320, p <, 050). There was a significant relationship between FMS scores and body weight parameters (R =, 580, R2 =, 337, p <, 050). A significant relationship was found between FMS scores and skeletal muscle weight parameters (R =, 537, R = 2,288, p <, 050). While it was determined that there was no significant relationship between the participants' FMS total scores and mean deviation, average oscillation velocity, distance traveled and field parameters (p> 0.05), there was a weak positive relationship between the average oscillation velocity and the distance traveled parameters ( p =, 000, r = 1,000), a high level of positive correlation between the mean oscillation velocity and field parameters (p =, 006, r =, 638), and a high level of positive correlation between the length of the distance traveled and the field parameters ( p =, 006, r = .639). A moderate negative correlation was found between the FMS total scores and the leg strength parameter (p =, 044, r = -, 494), while a high positive correlation was found between the shuttle test and the push-up test parameters (p =, 000, r = , 784). A significant relationship was found between the FMS scores of the participants and the leg strength parameter (R =, 494, R2 =, 245, p <, 050). Considering the significant relationship between FMS total scores and body analysis, balance and strength parameters, it is thought that their evaluation in many branches will provide valuable contributions to sports science
