Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Analysis of the Relationship Between Shared Leadership Perception and Organizational Commitment Perceptions of the Central Organization Employees of the Ministry of Youth and Sports In this study, the relationship between shared leadership perception and organizational commitment perceptions of the central organization employees of the Ministry of Youth and Sports was examined. This study was carried out to reveal shared leadership and organizational commitment perceptions and to examine the relationships between them in terms of various variables and to determine their level of influence and whether there is a significant difference between them. In this research, 297 Leadership Scale and Organizational Commitment Scale were applied to 297 participants working in the central organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Survey results were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 package program. Frequency, percentage distributions, T-test, Anova test, Post-Hoc Tukey test and Correlation (Pearson) test were used for statistical analysis. As a result; According to the evaluations of the employees of the central organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the dimensions of emotional commitment, continuation dependence and normative commitment, which are sub-dimensions of organizational commitment behavior, are above average, the common definition of the task which is one of the shared leadership behaviors, mutual skills development, emotional support sub-dimensions are above average and the sub-dimension of non-central interaction is below average. As the emotional commitment behavior of the Organizational Commitment Scale subscales increased, there was an increase in mutual completion, mutual skills development and emotional support behaviors of the shared leadership scale sub-dimensions, whereas there was a decrease in the decentralized communication dimension among the employees. There is a low level relationship between attendance and emotional support sub-dimensions. As the normative commitment behaviors, which are sub-dimensions of organizational commitment, increase, joint completion of the task, mutual skill development and emotional support behaviors, which constitute the sub-dimensions of shared leadership, increase, while decentralized communication between employees does not change.
