Abstract (EN)
In this study, in Ege University Science Faculty EGEMIKAL Microbiological Analyses Laboratory, awkward ergonomic factors which can be emerged while working with microscope, biosafety cabinet and pipetting are determined by oral communication, observation and with the photographs which are taken to use it through AutoCad. For all 5 laboratory personnel, ergonomic strain density is measured as 'high risk' in RULA ergonomic risk density chart (1-7) for each three kind of work position in general. Except working with microscope, ergonomic strain which are caused by working with biosafety cabinet and pipetting is measured as high risk in REBA ergonomic risk density chart (1-11+). Through the results, ergonomic strain level on 5 laboratory personnels shows awkward work position. In the name of hindering the awkward working postures, dropping the ergonomic strain level to create a healthier work station in laboratories and preventing the WRMSD's from personnel, so on, a series of ergonomic suggestions about pipetting, microscope work and biosafety cabinet use, are established as final work.
