Abstract (EN)
In many countries, the real estates has been the most preferred investment instruments. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), among the real estate oriented capital market investments,has a prominent position. In this study the REIT‟s in Turkey and in the world, coming into existence, its improvement, legal position and its present state is analyzed. In emprical section, the income of REIT stock index fort he period between January 2003 and December 2011 is analyzed using Capital Assets Pricing Model (CAPM) and Vector Autoregressive Model. Emprical findings fort he period being analyzed of the study Show that the REIT‟s have a direct relevant with market index Key words: Capital Market Investmet Tool Based on Real Estate, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Capital Assets Pricing Model, Vector Autoregressive Models
