Abstract (EN)
In the changing and developing world conjuncture, individuals have fast consumption habits. While the amount and characterization of the wastes that arise due to these increasing consumption habits of people increase day by day, the issue of what will happen increases the importance of the notion of recycling. The wastes, there are an important problem for world economies, pose an important problem for nature, economy and living life.In order to eliminate this problem and contribute to the economy at the same time, the concept of recycling has recently taken a very important place in the economies of the countries.In this study, does recycling have a contribution to the economy?While looking for an answer to the question, it is aimed to determine the position of Turkey in the world economies in terms of recycling and to reveal what can be done for its development in terms of recycling.As a result, it was determined that Turkey could not get the desired efficiency from recycling in the world economies, and in this context, suggestions were made to both policy makers, the private sector and individuals.
