Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, textile structures with photovoltaic effect are obtained by applying organic solar cell materials to flexible structures and textiles. ITO coated PET, PET and textile/PET carrier layers are used as flexible structure. The photovoltaic properties of the obtained flexible structures are compared with the solar cells obtained with rigid layers such as FTO coated glass and glass used as standard. AgNW (silver nanowire) /PEDOT:PSS PH 1000 hybrid structures, which will be used as the bottom electrode in the solar cells, are optimized and the most suitable structure was selected according to the resistance, optical transmittance and surface roughness values. PEDOT:PSS Al 4083 is used as the hole transport layer, P3HT:PCBM and PTB7:PC71BM mixtures are used as the photoactive layer, and Al (100 nm) was used as the top electrode. The illumination process is made from carrier layer side in all the obtained solar cells also, polyester-based tulle fabric with a porous structure is used as the textile material. Among all the obtained solar cells, the highest efficiency was obtained with a yield value of 0.101% in the solar cells with a glass carrier layer, AgNW/PEDOT:PSS PH 1000 hybrid structure used as the bottom electrode with spin coating, and P3HT:PCBM mixture coated as the photoactive layer. While the highest efficiency is obtained as 0.0092% in the solar cells with a flexible PET carrier layer and the PTB7:PC71BM mixture is used as the photoactive layer, the highest efficiency is found as 0.0015% in the solar cells with the fabric/PET carrier layer and the PTB7:PC71BM mixture is used as the photoactive layer. While evaluating the photovoltaic structures and the obtained bottom electrodes, UV-Vis absorption spectra, the images taken by AFM and SEM microscopy techniques, current-voltage (I-V) measurements are performed and shown with graphics and values.
