Abstract (EN)
Nature has been the first instructive in the production of design by an artist. He determined the organisms he observed around him as a point of inspiration and used them in his works. Mimetic perception in primitive tribal civilizations was imitated in form and material. They used animal, vegetal and geometric forms in their forms. They created the first artistic works of the earth with imitation in the use of form and material. It takes place in many disciplines of design. The most well-known examples were made in the field of architecture. In the study, it is aimed to investigate and analyze clothing designs based on the Biomimetic approach by addressing the methods of transferring nature to design. The study was conducted as a qualitative research and consists of five chapters. It is important to understand the systematic structure in nature. In this context, the aim of the study is to investigate the applicability of the biomimetic approach in clothing design within the scope of the relationship between clothing design and biomimes. It is to create new application areas in pattern and manipulation techniques by addressing the mathematical rules of nature with self-similarity, self-similarity and fractal dimensions. The designer analyzed the draft drawings and process by systematizing the functioning of nature in fashion and textile design. He realized the collection preparation stages by evaluating all the analyzed data. In order to analyze the functioning of nature, the designer searched for answers to the questions "How does nature apply a method in line with the determined requirements? How is the form formation realized and which path is followed?". With these answers, he shaped his design idea and created a workflow table to create solutions. He prepared his collections in line with this process. The collection is based on the mathematics of nature. The collection consists of 10 designs. Fibonacci and Lucas Number Sequences and types of Fractal geometry were used in the pattern of the designs. The usability of these ratios in the pattern system was examined and adapted. Gradual increase and proportions were dimensioned on the female body. It was found that the measurements and proportions used in the pattern and surface applications in the collection play an important role in creating the aesthetic whole. The use of these mathematical methods, in which nature is imitated, in pattern preparation and fabric manipulations has strengthened the design structure and holistic harmony has been consciously captured.
