Abstract (EN)

The research area is a settlement in Manisa province in the Aegean Region where agricultural activities are intensive. The agricultural lands of Gölmarmara district have fertile agricultural lands that can grow a wide variety of agricultural products. Gölmarmara district has suitable conditions for viticulture in terms of climate elements such as temperature, precipitation, wind and frost. There are fertile soils in the study area that will increase the quality of grapes. Since both climate and soil factors have ideal conditions for viticulture, viticulture yield is also high in Gölmarmara district. While the average amount of seedless grapes for drying per decare in Turkey is 1,241 kg, it decreases to 1,434 kg per decare in Manisa province. In Gölmarmara district, an average of 2,083 kg of seedless grapes for drying per decare is obtained. The income obtained from viticulture agriculture is high. A wide variety of materials are needed for the establishment, irrigation, spraying, drying and storage of vineyards. Viticulture agriculture, which requires such a variety of materials and maintenance, also has a positive effect on the district economy. It provides employment for many people directly or indirectly. Despite all this, fresh grape trade has not developed. In addition, more factories and businesses are needed for dried grapes. More support and initiatives are needed in marketing.
