Investigations on the contribution ofaccommodated technological vehicle use levelsto life behavior of visually handicapped individuals

The aim of this research is to examine the contribution of accessible technological tools to the life satisfaction of visually impaired individuals. The study group of the study is composed of 7 non-selective sampling methods in Istanbul and 13 adult blind individuals, 7 boys and 6 girls. In this research which was conducted in order to determine the opinions of visually impaired individuals regarding the contribution of accessible technological vehicle use levels to life satisfaction, interview method and life satisfaction scale consisting of semi-structured questionnaires were applied to determine participants' opinions about the topic. In our work; research method, is a case study designed according to the mixed model method. In this model, qualitative and quantitative research methods are used together. In the qualitative research method, events are revealed realistically and holistically in natural environment by using qualitative data collection methods such as interview, observation and document analysis. In the analysis of the interview texts resulting from the interviews, "categorical analysis" was also performed on the content analysis types using content analysis. In the quantitative data analysis of the study, the findings of the two data were compared with each other using the categorization. Because of the obstacles, individuals, private and public areas; There are many physical, environmental and social problems such as lack of education, lack of support and equipment, prejudices. Education and support are crucial to prevent visually impaired individuals from becoming inadequate, fearful and depressed, and not becoming a person who is depressed. Moreover, living a human being, discrimination and social prejudices negatively affect the level of life satisfaction of visually impaired individuals. Technology and its facilitating tools are put into action in order to reduce these negative effects and to help the visually impaired individuals to adapt easily to life and to save the psychological burden given to them by their living situation. As a result of the research; accessible technological tools that contribute to life satisfaction levels and life satisfaction levels of visually handicapped individuals and the needs, competencies, accessibility and living problems of these tools have been determined. Suggestions have been made on what can be done as society, private institutions and the state, and it is hoped that this area will be an important work in terms of contributing to the literature.
