Abstract (EN)

It is known that expansionary monetary and fiscal policies are applied in periods when economies shrink. Within the scope of the thesis, whether the policy combinations implemented in this period supported growth or not was analyzed by taking into account the growth dynamics with the data set including developed and developing countries. There is a wide area of discussion in the literature on the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policies implemented by countries. For this reason, whether the policies are pro-growth and in which cases they can be pro-growth have been examined within the scope of the literature with suggestions and criticisms. Since the policies are multi-dimensional and non-traditional policies as well as traditional policies are on the agenda, the application areas of the countries are also included in practice. The analysis has been expanded by looking at the impact of expansionary policies on growth from a short and long-term perspective.
