The analysis of Gûlâmî's Divan

One of the 19th century Divan literature poets, Gulâmî of Sivas was one of the important scholars of his time as well as a poet. The poet, whose real name was Abdülkadir Gulâmî, started to engage in various scientific activities since his childhood, which made him interested in Sufism. Therefore, his reputation as a Sufi poet is the result of his personal efforts. At the same time, Gulāmī, who held various positions such as teacher, inspector and accountant, was a regular of the Kâdirî sect for a while and became the leader of the said sect upon the death of his father. In this thesis, Gulâmî's poems in his Divan were analyzed and the poet's poems were evaluated. In the study, the subjects of the poems in the poet's divan were divided into seven sections and grouped according to their classes and analyzed accordingly. In the fırst sections introdiction, ın the second sections his life, literary, works, ın the third section, the religious elements in the poet's poems, in the fourth section, the mystical elements in the divan, in the fifth section, the personalities mentioned in the divan, in the sixth section, the social life and culture in the divan, in the seventh section, the nature in the poet's divan are analyzed. In this study, Gulâmî's life and literary personality are also evaluated and how this situation is reflected in his poems is tried to be investigated. With this study, it is aimed to bring the richness of the verses in Gulâmî's Divan in terms of language and style, word arts and meaning to the literature.
