Determination of new building areas in Gümüşhane by fuzzy

Many problems are encountered in the selection of construction sites in our country. Sometimes the builders complain that the structures are not sold, but sometimes those who want to buy them complain that they cannot find them as they do not. Perhaps one of the most important reasons for this supply and demand imbalance is the inability to identify the right construction sites. This situation becomes more evident especially in small mountainous cities in terms of land. In Turkey it is one of the provinces where the terrain is difficult and limited Gümüşhane. Therefore, the study was carried out to determine the ideal construction site among the construction sites in Gümüşhane. In the study process, first of all, literature review was conducted and what was considered important in the selection of construction site was evaluated. Following this assessment, a form for building site selection was created. Then, 3 participants engaged in construction works in Gümüşhane province were interviewed and their opinions on what is important about the construction sites were obtained. In the comments received, items not included in the literature were added to the form. The form was examined by an expert educator in the field of Turkish Language and whether the items were understandable. As a result of the examination, necessary corrections were made and the form was finalized. The form was applied to 22 people who were engaged in construction work (build-sell) in Gümüşhane. According to the opinions received from these people, the importance levels were listed and the 10 most important criteria were determined. Then five different regions suitable for construction were determined in Gümüşhane province. These areas were considered as alternatives and the ideal construction area was selected using the TOPSIS method over the actual value of each criterion. As a result of the calculation, it was determined that the most ideal construction area [A2] is an alternative. This alternative is located in Karşıyaka District of Gümüşhane Province (Island: 610 Parcel: 17-18-41-42).
