Gün Sazak: His life and political activities (1932-1980)

History, as a science, deals with the events and phenomena of the past in many specific and general aspects and with its own methods. Within this framework, biographical studies, which directly contribute to the science of history, have a considerable importance in order to shed light on future generations. Indeed, biographical studies deal with the historical personality in all its aspects and therefore include the events of the period in question. Since it is a biography study, this study is hoped to make the same contribution to science. Indeed, Gün Sazak has been analysed and discussed in all aspects, starting from his family. In the study, in addition to his business life, his entry into politics is mentioned, and his activities from 1971 when he joined the Nationalist Movement Party until 1980 are mentioned. Hence, in this process, his duty as the Ministry of Customs and Monopolies, which lasted for 5 months and 15 days in the II Nationalist Front Government, is mentioned and his activities during this period are meticulously analysed. In addition, during this period, Gün Sazak's life, activities, statements and many political, sociological and economic events in Türkiye and the world are mentioned.
