Abstract (EN)

Solar energy, as a renewable and environmentally friendly energy source, has rapidly become a widely adopted technology worldwide. This study aims to investigate the factors affecting the efficiency of solar power plants and to optimize these factors. The research was conducted at a solar power plant located in Isparta, with a total energy capacity of 5.2 MWp. The performance of the plant was analyzed using data on ambient temperature, back panel temperature, wind speed, and instantaneous radiation. The energy efficiency of photovoltaic systems depends on various environmental and systemic factors. The findings of the research show that environmental factors significantly impact the efficiency of photovoltaic panels. In particular, it was found that increases in temperature lead to a decrease in panel efficiency. Additionally, systemic factors such as inverter efficiency and system maintenance were also determined to significantly affect energy production. In conclusion, optimizing environmental and systemic factors is essential for increasing the efficiency of solar power plants. This study serves as an important reference for improving the performance of solar energy technologies and enhancing energy production efficiency.
