Analysis of the effect of modern digital printing technology on textile fabric printing process

In this thesis, Classical Printing Methods and the history of the development of Digital Printing Technology, which has been included in textile industry for the last quarter century, is examined. Between different structures and approaches has been interpreted that determined in terms of technological and "Analysis of the Effect of Modern Digital Printing Technology on Textile Fabric Printing Process" is explained. As an introduction to understand the effect of modern digital printing technology on the fabric printing production process, the research and explanation of the classical printing method have been illustrated on the first chapter of this thesis. On the following chapter, the types, concept, advantages and disadvantages of Classical Printing and Digital Printing Technology, and its areas of implementation are fully described. And at the final part of this thesis, the summary and future forecast of digital technology which includes the colour management systems of Digital Printings (ICC Profiles, RIP Software), workflow, workforce, necessity, and expectations of the fashion sector have been deeply explained. The general purpose of this research is to create a literature for those who want to do research on the effect of classic printing and modern digital printing technology on fashion and fabric production process, or to take part in fashion industry.
