Assessment of the effectiveness of technology-supported teaching in individual voice education courses of fine arts high schools

The aim of this research is to evaluate the contribution of technology-assisted education in the attainment of target behaviors within the scope of individual voice education course in music departments of Fine Arts High Schools. Combined research pattern and sequential explanatory pattern sampling type were used in the research. The experimental group of the research consists of tenth grade students of Trabzon Akcaabat Fine Arts High School music department, which is affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, and the control group consists of tenth grade students of Rize Türk Telekom Fine Arts High School music department. The study conducted a four-week training process with the experimental group. At the end of the training process, the final test application was made using the "knowledge test" prepared by the researcher to the experimental and control group. The SPSS 23.0 package program was used for statistical solutions of the data obtained. The qualitative data in the research were obtained through a semi-structured interview form and one on one interviews with the experimental group studying in tenth grade at the music department of Fine Arts High School. The data were analyzed and interpreted using content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. According to the quantitative data results of the study, there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group as a result of the independent sample t-test of the experimental and control groups. In the qualitative part of the research, 4 themes and 27 codes were reached as a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the semi-structured interview form. Themes and codes are accessed in accordance with technology-assisted teaching materials more memorable training courses that are performed with vocal learning, nurturing, engaging, descriptive, fun, focus and facilitator, provider of an opportunity again, it was determined that facilitate the visibility of concepts. Also audio-visual materials of the course to increase the effectiveness of technology-aided teaching of descriptive tools that is performed, repeater, informative, comprehensive database, attractive, competitive environment provider, interactive, understandable and easily accessible; technology-supported individual learning of students developed teaching materials and self-sufficiency have a positive effect on their level of it has been determined that. After all, it was concluded that the students considered these materials to be instructive, that all the tools used in the teaching process carried out by the experimental group were appreciated by the students, and that the students found these programs amusing and instructive.
