Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research was to analyze the works in the books which are used in Fine Arts High Schools in terms of earnings and technical difficulties, to recommend solutions and to write technical works about it. Scientific research was used in this research. The research group consists of 23 violin teachers that work in Fine Arts High Schools in eight provinces in İzmir, Aydın, Eskişehir, Bursa, Denizli, Isparta and Burdur. The data were collected by using the interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research techniques. The interview were contucted according to the semi-structured interview from. The data were resolved by content analyzing. According to the results of the research, it was detected whether the acquisitions in the book and the acquisitions in the teaching syllabus completely coincide. In the line with the data that was collected, it was detected that, not enough place had been given to the works in the books because of the insufficient class hours, the acquisitions in the book hadn't been completely finished, and in terms of these results, the targets which had been aimed, hadn't been reached. It was also detected that, teachers chose works from outside of the book because of the limited choices and the too heavy level for the students. In terms of the data that were acquired, it was detected that the most technical difficulties with the right hand were; holding the bow, drawing straight bow, position of the thumb and the little finger and their tension, using the bow, bow distribution, producing tone with quality, and difficulties that include bow difficulties and problems in fast playing depend on this. Application difficulties that were detected with the left hand were; intonation position shifting, the articulation, fast playing, double sound playing, and the vibrato technique. 113 technical works were written to resolve these difficulties.
