This study is conducted for the rewiev of the relationship between the perception and opinions and the problems that encountered in working life of the administrative personel at Hacettepe University. This is a descriptive epidemiological study. The universe of the study consisted of 3025 female and 2582 male administrative staff working at Hacettepe University Beytepe and Sıhhiye Campus. The minimum sample was weighted according to the units distrubition. According to the calcultion; 169 women and 140 men, a total of 309 people participated to the resarch.. The data was collected with socio-demographic characteristics, a questionnaire consisting of questions related to the problems faced in working life and Gender Role Attitude Scale (GRAS). The results of the study were evaluated by Chi Square, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests and the median of attitude scores was calculated. This study, women had to stay away from the unit where they worked more than men. The reason for this was found to be usually pregnancy and child care. Woman participants experienced more discrimination / intimidation than man. In addition, it was found that woman participants had more divisions between job and personal life responsibilities than man participants. On the other hand, it was found that the spouses of the woman participants on the responsibilities at home were less than the man participants spouses. While the mean score of womn participants from the GRAS was 161.6, it was found that the man participants were 138.1. As a result; women were found to be more egalitarian than men.. In addition, discrimination / intimidation, division of responsibilities between work and personal life, taking the responsibility of housewives of spouses of married participants, child care of spouses of married participants or taking care of children were found to be statistically significant against women (p<0.05).
