Hakki Kamil Beşe's life, art and his works

Hakkı Kamil Beşe, one of the Turkish story and playwrights of the Republic Period, was born in 1899 in the village of Moğsu (with its new name Gökçesu) in Araç which is a district of Kastamonu. After graduating from Faculty of Political Sciences, he starts to work in Istanbul Revenue Office. After completing his internship as an inspector in France and coming back to the country, he works as an inspector in various parts of Anatolia. The last duty of the artist, who has also worked as a Prime Ministry Deputy Undersecretary, is Prime Ministry General Directorate of Foundations. Hakkı Kamil Beşe is also interested in politics; he is among the founders of Turkey Peasant Party. In addition, he is elected as a member of the Constituent Assembly after the coup of May 27,1960. The artist, who has prepared the draft of Vakıflar Bank's law of establishment, ensures the establishment of Güneş Insurance. Hakkı Kamil Beşe makes a name for himself with the stories he wrote, as well as his civil service and political life. The story of the artist whose name is featured in literary encyclopedias, "İki Hazır Yiyici", is reviewed by Mehmet Kaplan in this book Hikâye Tahlilleri. With his observant attitude, he particularly expresses the lifestyles of the citizens of Kastamonu/Araç and the difficulties they experience, and problems related to the village. Tekçarık Yüzbaşı and Kırkkanat are his storybooks; Fırıldak is theater type of work. He also has works in the type of review named Radyoda Üç Konuşma, Memurlar Hakkında Muhakeme Usulleri and Milletlerarası İlim Yarışması ve Haklarımız. In this study, Hakkı Kamil Beşe's life, art and especially his literary works will be analyzed in a detailed way.
