Methods of resolving contradictions between hadiths in Hanafis in the context of Fakihi Burhan al-Din al-Marghinani's Al-Hidayah

This thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and a bibliography. In the introduction, information is given about the content of the thesis and the method followed in its preparation. In the first chapter, information is given about Burhan al-Din al-Marghinani and his work Al-Hidayah, which is the source of the research. In the second part, after explaining the possibility and reasons for the occurrence of contradiction among the Shari'ah evidence, the issue of conflict between the hadiths is examined. Information about the approaches of the sects to the contradiction between the hadiths, the ways of solution and the methods they use, such as naskh (abrogation), preference, cem'/ta'lif (collection/compilation) and tawakkuf/tasaqut (cessation/abandonment), were given and it was examined how the scholars applied these methods while using them. In the third chapter, how the methods of resolving the contradiction between the hadiths were applied by Marghinani in the work of Al-Hidayah were examined through examples, and those methods were classified and evaluated according to their characteristics.
