Occupational risks and job stress of hospital workers: The case of group b hospital

The aim of this research is to evaluate the relationship between occupational risks and health stress of health workers; to determine the hazards and risks that health workers are exposed to during the provision of health services and to determine the relationship between these hazards and their anxiety levels. The state in Artvin is limited to health workers. The population of the study consisted of health workers (294 persons) working in the state hospital in Artvin province where the research was conducted in January - April 2019. In this study, 157 healthcare personnel were reached with easy sampling method. The data of the research; sociodemographic characteristics (age, sex, marital status, economic status, educational status), perception of risks and hazards arising from the workplace, health conditions (nutrition, exercise, rest, chronic illness, sleep, smoking, alcohol, health control, etc.) and The questionnaire consisting of questions about working conditions (duration of service, working hours, work efficiency, etc.) and Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) and Health Worker Safety Scale (LES) were administered under direct observation. According to the results of the research, as the perceptions of the health workers about the workplace security decreases, anxiety status increases.
