Abstract (EN)
In the study which was carried out in 2019 and 2020 in Hatay, it was aimed to detect aphid species on plants belonging to the Solanaceae family. In Arsuz, Antakya, Altınözü, Yayladağ, and Samandağ districts survey study was carried out on tomato, pepper, and eggplant plants and in Antakya, Reyhanlı, and Kumlu districts survey study was carried out on potato plants. It was determined that 23.52% of the total of 408 fields which were controlled were infected with any aphid species. It was detected that the most infected plant was tomato (33.96%) and the eggplant was the least infected plant (14.81%). Among the districts, Samandağ was the most infected district for tomato, pepper and eggplant plants and infection percentage of these plants were 63.63%, 30%, and 36.36%, respectively. In potato plants, Reyhanlı district was determined as the most infected district with 35.71% infection percentage. In this study four aphid species, Myzus persicae (Sulzer), Aulacorthum solani (Kaltenbach), Aphis fabae Scopoli, and Aphis nasturtii Kaltenbach, were detected and Aphis nasturtii was only found in potato, and Aphis fabae was only found in pepper. In weed Solanum nigrum L. belonging to the Solanaceae family, the species A. solani and M. persicae were detected. Aulacorthum solani and Aphis nasturtii, which were detected in this study, were reported for the first time in Hatay with this study. In the study, 12 natural enemy species belonging to four orders and six families were detected and Coccinellidae family was the family with the highest number of species with five species and Hippodamia variegata Goeze was determined as the species with the highest prevalence with 69.8% in this family.
