Abstract (EN)

With the recent developments in Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSS); the aircraft navigations, on the IFR air routes, can be operatedby without using ground based navigation stations. On the other hand, since there are many error sources which cause positioning errorswhile using GPS differential GPS is developed to improve the accuracyof precision positioning with GPS.DGPS is a method of improving the accuracy of mobile receivers byadding a local reference station whose position is known with highaccuracy, and then comparing the known position with the oneavailable from the satellites and broadcasting the error ratios to mobilereceivers. In this study; the GPS observation data obtained from a roving GPSstation in an navigating aircraft on G 8 airway by using ground basedradio navigation aids like VOR and NDB, was studied using post-process method in which the corrections for the errors are obtainedfrom a ground based reference station and the solutions are compared. The results show that; GPS with Differential corrections for aircraftoperations in airspace navigation would be provided with superior andmore precise navigation performance than available from currentoperations with ground based navigation aids such as VOR or NDB.
