Hazinetü'l-Beyan ve Sefinetü'l-ʿİrfan fî Mühimmati'l-İnsan ve Mekasıdü'l-Cenan (Analysis-Edition-critical Text)

In this thesis, it is aimed to introduce the "mesnevi" named Hazînetü'l-Beyân ve Sefînetü'l-İrfân fî Mühimmâti'l-İnsân ve Mekâsıdü'l-Cenân, which is the Leyszâde (Emin Kösesi) Yahyâ Efendi's only work that has been identified so far, to the literature through its edition-critical publication and analysis. In the first part of the study, after information about the poet's life, "mahlas" and work, since the work is a product of the letter literature, examples of letters in poetic and prose in Turkish literature and the matters related to why the poet wrote this work are discussed. In the second part of the thesis, the content, form and spelling characteristics of the work are mentioned. Since the "mesnevi" is included in the class of poetic "münşeat", information about the art of prose in Arabic, Persian and Turkish literature, "münşeat" and "mecmua"s of "münşeat" is included. Here translations to prose and summaries of the letters can also be found. After these, sections concerning the issues that form the style of the text, such as other verse forms and "vezin" in the text are included. In the third part, after the explaining of the description of copies and the path followed in the establishment of the text, the edition-critical text of the mesnevi is included.
