Investigation of goal programming with mixed production problem and an application to company of ORSAN

The main aim in investment, production, finance, sail, advertisement like these kind of company decisions is to reach the company defined aims. To be able to get appropriote decisions for companies, it's needed to get modern techniques to satisfy the cooparation of aims and tools in addition to dependable data. Today, the problems that small and big scaled companies face to are so much and complex. For this reason, it has been started to use operation research techiniques to solve the problems of companies recently. The operation research techniques that are used for many years depend on the base of minimizing or maximizing the objectives function. This classic operation research techiniques are now insufficient to solve the problems of companies. The classic solution methods gives its place to multiobjective quantitive decision making techniques since company problems are complex and multidirection. Multiobjective decision making techniques tries to find the most ideal solution by considering so many objectives which can be in contraticted with each orher. In this study, with the help of collected data and assumptions three main goal programming modelling and alternative programmes are constructed to be able to find the best production planning for ORSAN AŞ. The result of the solution, an optimum mixed production for the company which can realize it with a minimum deviation for the aims, where they one, is determined for ORSAN A.Ş. Among three basic and eight alternative production schedule, a firm can select the most appropriate one for itself, according to the policies implemented by the firm. The solution of models are done by package programme LİNDO and the solutions are gives in the appendix part.
